The city is your playground. We spread the hunts across different zones. You might find yourself searching in the leafy streets of Carlton, or navigating the industrial edges of Footscray. It could be a quiet corner of the Royal Botanic Gardens, or a specific piece of street art in Brunswick. The idea is to send you to places you might not otherwise visit, rewarding your knowledge of Melbourne's sprawling character. Your clue, your path

As you get closer to the token's location, more clues unlock. You do not buy them. You earn them by being there. Get within 400 metres, and a second clue appears, describing what you would see from across the street. Within 120 metres, a third clue gives you almost the exact spot. It rewards exploration and genuine movement through the city.

Beyond the find: Winning the cash

Finding the token is a crucial step, but it is not the last one. A claim only counts if you are physically within 75 metres of the sticker. Your GPS must be on. The photo you take needs to match the real location. This stops anyone winning from the couch. You have to be standing there. This strict verification process ensures fairness. The moment your find is verified, an exclusive 15-minute window opens for you. During this time, you answer a skill question. Get it right, and the prize is yours. If you get it wrong, a five-minute cooldown period begins, and your 15-minute window keeps running. If your exclusive time runs out, the question then opens to all members. The prize goes to the first person who answers correctly. It means thinking under pressure is as important as getting to the spot first.
